Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this legendary Waterman Edson 120th Anniversary Sterling Silver Limited Edition Fountain Pen, which comes with its Waterman presentation box (including outers) and information booklet. The pen was only dipped to test and is presented in essentially as new condition. There is some wear to the blue lining of the presentation box (common on Edson boxes). Only 4000 were produced and this is number 1359.
Waterman are known for their meticulously detailed writing instruments and the Edson is at the very heart of this. The model name is taken from the Waterman’s founder, Lewis Edson Waterman and was introduced in 1993.
The 120th Anniversary was released in 2003 and is an extremely handsome writing instrument. It's crafted from sterling silver and has a striped guilloche design. The blue section offers a lovely contrast.
The design of the Edson is particularly notable for its wonderful nib design and on this pen it’s an 18k fine. It’s a cartridge / converter (supplied), so you have the best of both worlds when it comes to ink.
