Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Visconti Homo Sapiens Iris Garden Limited Edition Fountain Pen, which comes with its Visconti presentation box (including branded outer), information booklet and ID card. The pen has never been used and is presented in as new condition.
The Tuscan Hills is a limited edition of only 388 pens and this is number 349. As the name suggests, the name is inspired by the irises that bloom between April and May in the Giardino Dell'Irish (Iris Garden) in Florence. The barrel and cap are produced from a glorious swirled lacendar, lilac and purple resin, which is ever so slightly translucent. The trim is rose gold-plated.
The pen features the patented double reservoir power filler – you simply unscrew the end of the barrel, pull up the rod, place the nib in an ink bottle and push the rod back down to fill! It’s one of our favourite filling systems and the ink capacity is huge.
The pen is fitted with an 18k medium nib.
