Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Visconti Homo Sapiens Chiantishire Limited Edition Fountain Pen, which comes with its large Visconti presentation box (including branded outer), information booklet and ID card. The pen has been very lightly used and is presented in fantastic condition.
The Chiantshire is a limited edition of only 888 pens and this is number 118 As the name suggests, the design is inspired by the wines of Chianti, with a swirling red and white, semi-transparent resin, along with subtle gold tinges. The trim is rhodium-coated.
The pen features the patented double reservoir power filler – you simply unscrew the end of the barrel, pull up the rod, place the nib in an ink bottle and push the rod back down to fill! It’s one of our favourite filling systems and the ink capacity is huge.
The pen is fitted with a 23k fine Palladium nib.
