Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Taccia Miyabi Maki-e Amber Crystal Shimmer Limited Edition Fountain Pen, which comes with an IZODS presentation box and pen kimono. The pen was only dipped to test and is presented in virtually as new condition. Only 30 were produced and this is number 30.
The Amer Crystal Maki-e is crafted from ebonite and finished with urushi lacquer. Both Raden and Rankauy maki-e techniques were used to create the incredible design which has myriad of orange, amber and red tones. The limitation number can be found on the barrel.
The pen is a cartridge / converter (supplied), so you have the best of both worlds. The pen is fitted with an 18k Sailor fine (H-F) nib.
