Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Taccia Kin-tsugi Azukinezu Urushi LE50 Fountain Pen, which comes with its wooden presentation box (including outer), pen kimono and information leaflets. Kintsugi, literally translated, means gold joinery... it is the ancient Japanese art of transforming broken pottery in to beautiful objects by mending the cracks with lacquer that is mixed or dusted with gold. This Azukinezu version features a deep brown urushi cap and barrel, with the bottom half of the barrel then being hand-painted using the Kintsugi technique. The top of the cap is dusted in gold powder. The pen measures approx. 15.2 cms with the cap attached and 13.3cms without.
The pen is fitted with an 18k medium nib and it’s a cartridge / converter (supplied), so your choice here is bottled ink.
The important details are as follows...
Condition: Essentially As New
Box: Taccia
Nib: Medium
With every pen that we sell we provide a card that includes the manufacturer, model, serial / limitation number and date it was purchased from us. We do this because our customers like to have documentation showing that it’s been purchased from a trusted seller.
