Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Sailor Wajima Bijou Ruby Limited Edition Fountain Pen, which comes with its wooden Sailor presentation box (including outer) and booklets. The pen has been lightly used and is presented in overall fantastic condition. Only 300 were produced and this is number 053.
Wajima-nuri is a form of lacquerware, which is produced in the city of Wajima. Sailor released the Wajima series in honour of this urushi technique. The pen features a black and red urushi design, with the name Bijour referring to a 'jewel' in French. The Sailor anchor logo sits atop the cap and on this edition its surrounded by mother-of-pearl. The trim is gold-plated.
The pen measures 129mm when capped and weighs 30g.
The pen is a cartridge / converter (supplied), so you have the best of both worlds. It's fitted with a 21k medium nib.
