Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this glorious Sailor 'Rei' Wajima Tamenuri Fountain Pen, which comes with its Sailor presentation box (including outer), unused polishing cloth, pen kimono and information leaflet. The pen was removed from its sealed pouch for photography, so is presented in as new condition.
The barrel and cap are crafted from ebonite, which is then coated in Urushi lacquer. Produced in Wajima by Masanora Sumi, who has more than forty-years experience and is one of only a few craftsman who have mastered all 100 Wajima-nuri techniques.
The pen is fitted with a 21k medium nib and it's a cartridge / converter (supplied), so you have the best of both worlds, when it comes to ink.
