Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Sailor King of Pen Mouko LE500 Fountain Pen, which comes with its wooden Sailor presentation box, polishing cloth, bottle of ink and information leaflets. The pen has barely been used and is presented in fantastic condition. Only 500 were produced and this is number 256.
The King of Pen requires no introduction and is a wonderful Sailor model. This Mouko version, refers to a ferocious tiger, with the inspiration coming from the painting 'Tiger' by Jakuchu Ito. The barrel, section and cap are crafted from a vibrant brownish-yellow and black ebonite and the clip is gold-plated.
The pen is a cartridge / converter (supplied), so you have the best of both worlds. It's fitted with a 21k medium Naginata Togi nib, which enables you to write with a thin line when holding the pen at a more vertical angle, but then a thicker line when lowering the angle. It's ground to produce a thicker line on the cross stroke and thinner on the down stroke.
