Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Sailor 1911L Black Gold Fountain Pen, which comes with its Sailor presentation box (including outer), polishing cloth and information leaflets. The pen has never been used and is presented in essentially as new condition.
The pen is crafted from black resin with the trim being gold-plated - this is the latest version with the revised cap ring design and nib style. The metallic centre ring is infilled with resin using the Cloisinne technique.
The pen is a cartridge / converter (supplied), so you have the best of both worlds. It's fitted with a rare 21k Naginata Cross Concord nib, which produces a thin line when written with a 'normal' position. But then when used in reverse will lay down a thick and varied line, with huge amounts of character.
