Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Platinum Izumo Matte Tagayasan Wood Fountain Pen, which comes with its wooden Platinum presentation box (including outer), pen kimono and information leaflets. The pen has never been used and is presented in wonderful condition - there are a few very small marks (barely noticeable) on the section and these are shown in the photos.
The Izumo is legendary offering from Platinum and this example is crafted from Tagayasan wood - it has a matte finish and a very deep brown colour. The use of wood gives it a delightfully tactile feel. The section is black resin and the trim is gold-plated.
The pen is fitted with an 18k fine nib and being a cartridge / converter (supplied), you’ve the best of both worlds when it comes to ink.
