Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Pilot Ishime Urushi Black Fountain Pen, which comes with its Pilot presentation box and information booklets. The pen has never bee inked and is presented in fantastic condition.
The Ishime is a hand-lacquered urushi pen. The rough translation of the word "Ishime" is a stone path, which is a nod to the hand drawn design which is created when the lacquer is still wet. The base material of the barrel and cap is brass.
The pen is fitted with an 18k medium nib and it’s a cartridge / converter (supplied) so you have the best of both worlds when it comes to ink.
