Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Pilot Custom Urushi Vermilion Fountain Pen, which comes with its Pilot presentation box and information booklets. The pen was inked once to test and is presented in virtually as new condition. The medium nib was ground to a stub by John Mottishaw at nibs.com
The Custom Urushi is a stunning pen, with the barrel and cap being crafted from ebonite and finished in stunning Urushi lacquer. Each pen takes considerable time to make, with the lacquering technique taking many steps to complete. This is an oversized pen, but is still extremely comfortable for both short and long writing sessions.
The pen is fitted with an 18k medium stub nib and it’s a cartridge / converter (supplied) so you have the best of both worlds when it comes to ink.
