Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Pilot Custom Urushi Maruze Ko-ai LE70 Fountain Pen, which comes with its Pilot presentation box (including outer) and information leaflets - confirming first purchase on 2nd May 2025. The pen has never been used and is presented in as new condition. Only 70 unnumbered pens were produced.
The Custom Urushi is a stunning pen, with the barrel and cap being crafted from ebonite and finished in stunning Urushi lacquer. Each pen takes considerable time to make, with the lacquering technique taking many steps to complete.
This is the fifth limited edition pen incojuntion with the retailer Maruzen Nihombashi, with the urushi having a very deep indigo colour. The trim is gold-coated.
The pen is fitted with an 18k FM fine medium nib and it’s a cartridge / converter (supplied) so you have the best of both worlds when it comes to ink.
