Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Pilot Custom 743 Black Fountain Pen, which comes with its Pilot presentation box and information leaflet. The pen has been very lightly used and is presented in wonderful condition.
The 743 is a long, slender pen with a black barrel and cap with contrasting gold-plated trim.
This example is fitted with a 14k FA nib and it's a cartridge / converter (supplied), so you have the best of both worlds. The two cutouts on the sides of the nib act to decrease the stiffness and make for a softer writing style. Although not like a vintage flex, it does offer some delightful line variation.
