Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Pelikan Souveran M800 Red Black Fountain Pen, which comes with an IZODSS presentation box. The pen has been very lightly used and is presented in overall fantastic condition - there are a couple of very small marks on the red striped barrel, which you do see sometimes on the striated pens.
The pen features a red striated barrel, with the cap being black resin. The trim is gold-plated. The red striated was released in 2001 and this example has the semi-transparent barrel, so you can see the ink level, if held up to the light.
One of the fantastic features of Pelikan pens is that the nib unit can be unscrewed – this makes it both incredibly simple to clean and you can also change nibs in seconds!
The M800 is a piston filling pen, so the choice here is bottled ink. It’s fitted with an 18C medium nib.
