Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Pelikan Souveran M800 Concerto Limited Edition Fountain Pen, which comes with its Pelikan presentation box. The pen has been carefully used and is presented in overall excellent condition (some marks to the presentation box). Only 4000 were produced and this is number 3701.
Released in 1996, the Concerto is crafted from blue resin... the vermeil (gold-coating over sterling silver) barrel is engraved with the opening bars of Beethoven's "Ode to Joy". The trim is gold-coated.
One of the fantastic features of Pelikan pens is that the nib unit can be unscrewed - this makes it both incredibly simple to clean and you can also change nibs in seconds!
The M800 is a piston filling pen, so the choice here is bottled ink. It's fitted with an 18C medium nib (PF Marked).
