Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Pelikan Souveran M205 Deutsche Telekom Fountain Pen, which comes with its Pelikan presentation box (including outer) and information booklet. The pen has been very lightly used and is presented in fantastic condition.
This is an interesting and rare pen... initially created, in 1994, for Deutsche Telekom, where Pelikan produced 5000 examples. They then had some excess stock remaining, so utilised the same design for this M205, which was sold through Karstadt Warenhaus GmbH. The barrel features swirling grey, silver and almost magenta tones. The remainder of the pen is black resin with the trim being rhodium-coated.
One of the fantastic features of Pelikan pens is that the nib unit can be unscrewed - this makes it both incredibly simple to clean and you can also change nibs in seconds!
The M205 is a piston filling pen, so the choice here is bottled ink. It's fitted with a steel medium nib.
