The marking of IIIY places this as a Q1 1996 pen.     Parker have a long, rich heritage of creating impressive writing instruments and the Sonnet pens are great examples of the reputation.     Launched in 1994, the Sonnet was available in myriad of finishes. This is the rare Fougere version, which has a sterling silver barrel and cap, with a distinctive wave pattern.
