Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Parker Centennial Mk1 Godron Gold Fountain Pen, which comes with a wooden Parker presentation box. The pen has barely been used, if it all, as we only found the tiniest whisper of blue ink when checking the pen and from experience, this is likely from the final factory check... as such it's presented in virtually as new condition.. The barrel code of IIIU dates this as a Q1 1991 pen, so right at the beginning of the Godron production.
Parker have a long, rich heritage of creating impressive writing instruments and the Duofold range is at the heart of this. With its incredibly detailed production process, including 130 components and 100 quality control tests.
The Godron Gold features a brass sleeve on the barrel and cap, which is then plating with 23k gold. The remainder of the pen is crafted from black resin.
The pen is fitted with an 18k extra fine nib and it's a cartridge / converter (supplied) filler, so you have the best of both worlds.
The important details are as follows...
Condition: Virtually As New
Box: Wooden Parker
With every pen that we sell we provide a card that includes the manufacturer, model, serial / limitation number and date it was purchased from us. We do this because our customers like to have documentation showing that it’s been purchased from a trusted seller.
