Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Parker Centennial Mk1 Godron Gold Fountain Pen, which comes with a wooden Parker presentation box. The pen has been lightly used and is presented in overall excellent condition - there is a small ding on the cap, which is shown in the photos. The barrel code of U dates this as a Q4 1991 pen, so right at the beginning of the Godron production.
Parker have a long, rich heritage of creating impressive writing instruments and the Duofold range is at the heart of this. With its incredibly detailed production process, including 130 components and 100 quality control tests.
The Godron Gold features a brass sleeve on the barrel and cap, which is then plating with 23k gold. The remainder of the pen is crafted from black resin
The fountain pen is fitted with an 18k medium nib and it's a cartridge / converter (supplied) filler, so you have the best of both worlds.
