Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this extremely rare Parker Duofold Centennial 'Bumblebee' Limited Edition Fountain Pen, which comes with its lacquered Parker presentation box (including outer), blotter card and certificate. The pen has never been used and is presented in wonderful - there are a few very small spots on the gold-plated clip and the edges of the cap top finial, but this is a minor point and the photos show them under extreme magnification.
Parker have a long, rich heritage of creating impressive writing instruments and the Duofold range is at the heart of this. With its incredibly detailed production process, including 130 components and 100 quality control tests.
Originally released in 2007 as a limited edition for the London Pen Show - of the 100 only 87 were made available, as Parker retained 13 (this is number 91). It was technically known as the London Parker Duofold (as per the cap decal), but due to its fascinating striped design, it has become known as the 'Bumblebee'. The inspiration for the design comes from the laminated Parker Vacumatic from the 1930s. The cap and barrel use the same laminated design, with yellow rings with white borders, alternating with transparent rings. The trim is gold-plated. The classic Parker banner is engraved on the barrel and includes the limitation number.
The fountain pen is fitted with an 18k medium nib and it's a cartridge / converter (supplied) filler, so you have the best of both worlds.
The important details are as follows...

Box: Parker
