Thanks for looking at our listing for this Onoto The Hurricane Limited Edition Fountain Pen, which comes with its large lacquered wooden presentation box (including outer), information leaflets and certificate – confirming first purchase in April 2022. Only 250 were produced and this is number 43. The pen has barely been used and is presented in wonderful condition.
The pen pays tribute to the Hawker Hurricane and uses metal from P2725 TM-B, which was successfully excavated in 2004... it had originally crashed in the middle of the crossroads, where Buckingham Palace Road meets Pimlico Road and Ebury Bridge. The Duralumin recovered, has been used to creates the pen's propeller spinner. The barrel, cap and section are crafted from a deep orange and green resin.
The pen is fitted with a steel size 7 fine nib and it’s a cartridge / converter (supplied), so you have the best of both worlds when it comes to ink.
