Thanks for looking at our listing for this glorious Onoto Overlay No.1 Henry Simpole Sterling Silver Fountain Pen, which comes with its large lacquered wooden presentation box (including outer), information leaflets and certificate – confirming first purchase in May 2013. Only 500 were produced and this is number 11. The pen has never been used and is presented in essentially as new condition.
This is a delightful limited edition, released by Onoto and in collaboration with Henry Simpole. He was a renowned artist who specialised in overlays. He worked with Onoto on a small number of models and this is the Overlay No.1. The base of the pen is black resin, with the overlay being hand crafted from sterling silver.
The pen is fitted with an 18k size 3 medium nib and it’s a cartridge / converter (supplied), so you have the best of both worlds when it comes to ink.
