Thanks for looking at our listing for this Onoto Magna Plunger Fill Limited Edition Fountain Pen, which comes with its Onoto wooden presentation box (including outer), information leaflets and certificate - confirming first purchase on 15th April 2013. The pen has been very lightly used and is presented in overall fantastic condition. Only 75 were produced and this is number 15.
At the time of first purchase, this was the first timw since the 1950s that Onoto had created a Magna using a plunger filler. Unlike a lot of other plunger fillers since then, this is a fixed version rather than removeable, with the end of the barrel featuring directions to 'open', which when turned then allows you to pull up the cone to activate the plunger rod... the ink capacity is huge!
The pen is crafted from black resin with the trim being vermeil (gold-plated over sterling silver).
The pen is fitted with an 18k size 7 medium nib, which was reground to an italic broad at the point of initial purchase. Being a plunger filler, your choice here is bottled ink.
