Thanks for looking at our listing for this Onoto Magna Ebonite Aspinal Prototype Fountain Pen, which comes with its Onoto presentation box, leather pen roll, information leaflets and certificate – confirming first purchase in 13th October 2024. The pen has barely been used and is presented in virtually as new condition. This was a prototype pen, hence the custom marking on the barrel finial.
Onoto have produced several pens for the luxury retailer Onoto and this was a prototype (one off example). The pen is crafted from black ebonite, with the trim being sterling silver. The barrel and cap are engraved with an English Arts & Crafts design, that features foliage, British animals and birds.
The pen is fitted with a steel size 7 broad nib and it’s a cartridge / converter (supplied), so you have the best of both worlds when it comes to ink.
