Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Omas Senna Speed Red Fountain Pen, which comes with its OMAS presentation box (including outer), pouch and booklet. The pen has never been inked and is presented in overall excellent condition.
OMAS require no introduction and since their sad demise in January 2016, the hunger from fans and collectors for great examples of their writing instruments has increased dramatically! The company was founded by Armando Simoni and the full name was Officina Meccanica Armando Simoni, abbreviated to OMAS.
Part of the Ayrton Senna Collection, the barrel is crafted from red resin, with the cap being aluminium, with a flash of red beneth the clp.
The pen is fitted with a steel medium nib and it features a cartridge only filling system... if you're familiar with the Montblanc Traveller, then this has the same cartridge slide, which is removed by unscrewing the end of the barrel.
