Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Omas Paragon Burlwood Celluloid Ruthenium Fountain Pen, which comes with an OMAS presentation box and bottle of ink. The pen has been lightly used and is presented in overall fantastic condition - there are two tiny spots on the nib where the ruthenium plating has worn.
OMAS require no introduction and since their sad demise in January 2016, the hunger from fans and collectors for great examples of their writing instruments has increased dramatically! The company was founded by Armando Simoni and the full name was Officina Meccanica Armando Simoni, abbreviated to OMAS.
Burlwood celluloid requires no introduction and is arguably one of the most sought-after pen materials on the planet. With its deep brown and black tones, it's one of our favourites and works perfectly with the ruthenium-coated trim.
The pen is fitted with a 18k medium (there's no M marking, but we'd say it was a medium) nib and it’s a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink.
