Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this delightful Omas Paragon Autunno Celluloid Vermeil Preziose Fountain Pen, which comes with an IZODS presentation box. The pen has never been inked and is presented in fantastic condition.
OMAS require no introduction and since their sad demise in January 2016, the hunger from fans and collectors for great examples of their writing instruments has increased dramatically! The company was founded by Armando Simoni and the full name was Officina Meccanica Armando Simoni, abbreviated to OMAS.
The barrel, section and cone are crafted from iconic 'Autunno' celluloid, which features myriad of black and golden tones. The cap is sterling silver, which is then gold-plated. The Vermeil cap works brilliantly with the tones of the celluloid.
The pen is fitted with a 14k fine nib and it’s a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink.
