Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this delightful Omas Paragon Arco Verde Celluloid Preziose Fountain Pen, which comes with an IZODS presentation box. The pen has been carefully used and is presented in overall excellent condition... the cap attaches completely securely, we'd suggest screwing the cap on slightly before it's final position (so as shown in the photos), as it does get quite tight, although we have greased the threads, which will likely mean it loosens with use.
OMAS require no introduction and since their sad demise in January 2016, the hunger from fans and collectors for great examples of their writing instruments has increased dramatically! The company was founded by Armando Simoni and the full name was Officina Meccanica Armando Simoni, abbreviated to OMAS.
This is the Arco Verde celluloid version and it requires no introduction… with it being arguably the most sought-after pen material on the planet, alongside Arco Bronze. With its myriad of green and silvery ones, it’s a material that simply has to be seen to be fully appreciated. The arco pattern lines up extremely well. The cap is sterling silver and the trim is platinum- plated.
The pen is fitted with a 14k fine nib and it’s a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink.
