Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Omas for Gianni Versace Blue Gold Fountain Pen and Ballpoint Pen Set, which comes with its Versace presentation box (including outer) and booklet. Neither pen has been used and the set it presented in essentially as new condition.
OMAS require no introduction and since their sad demise in January 2016, the hunger from fans and collectors for great examples of their writing instruments has increased dramatically! The company was founded by Armando Simoni and the full name was Officina Meccanica Armando Simoni, abbreviated to OMAS.
These pens were produced in the 1990's for Versace - the barrel is crafted from a deep blue resin, with the trim being gold-plated. The cap has a crocodile effect finish and the iconic Medusa head emblem sits atop the cap.
The fountain pen is fitted with a 18k medium nib (ebonite feed) and it’s a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink. The ballpoint pen uses the same refill as the Montblanc small ballpoint version (there are other available brands) and we've fitted a new one.
