Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this wonderful OMAS 50th Anniversary Lamborghini Prototype Titanium Fountain Pen, which comes with its acrylic OMAS presentation box and polishing cloth. The pen has never been used and is presented in virtually as new condition. Only 500 final production pens were produced, but this is the number 000 prototype.
OMAS require no introduction and since their sad demise in January 2016, the hunger from fans and collectors for great examples of their writing instruments has increased dramatically! The company was founded by Armando Simoni and the full name was Officina Meccanica Armando Simoni, abbreviated to OMAS.
Released in 2013, to celebrate Lamborghini's 50th anniversary. The pen has a hexagonal shape and is crafted from titanium, which has a matte PVD finish. The Lamborghini logo can be found on the barrel. The cap and barrel ends are produced from forged carbon composite.
The pen is fitted with a medium titanium nib and it’s a cartridge / converter (supplied), so you have the best of both worlds when it comes to ink.
