Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this wonderful Omas 360 Vintage Smoke Limited Edition Fountain Pen, which comes with its large OMAS presentation box (including outer), bottle of ink and paperwork. The pen has never been used and is presented in essentially as new condition. Only 360 were produced and this is number 042.
OMAS require no introduction and since their sad demise in January 2016, the hunger from fans and collectors for great examples of their writing instruments has increased dramatically! The company was founded by Armando Simoni and the full name was Officina Meccanica Armando Simoni, abbreviated to OMAS.
The 360 was arguably their most recognisable pens, with its dramatic triangular design. The Vintage limited edition pens were released in 2013 and are crafted from a glorious smokey cotton resin, which allows you to see the inner workings of the pen. They were released in two versions, the first with gold-plated trim and then this example, which has ruthenium-plated trim.
The pen is fitted with an 18k medium nib and it’s a piston filler, so bottled ink is your choice here
