Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this glorious Namiki Yukari Yozakura Raden Maki-e Fountain Pen, which comes with its large wooden Namiki presentation box (including outer), bottle of ink, CD and unstamped information leaflet. The pen has barely been used and is presented in wonderful condition.
The Yukari Yozakura Raden is a wonderfully detailed writing instrument. Using Togidashi Maki-e and Raden techniques, the barrel and cap feature inlayed raden sakura petals, with a shimmering togidashi background. The trim is gold-plated. This release is similar to the more recent 'Cherry Blossoms at Night' release, but in our opinion is much more richly detailed. The artist is Yumi Hayashi.
The pen is fitted with an 18k broad nib and it’s a cartridge / converter (supplied) so you have the best of both worlds when it comes to ink.
