Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Namiki Tradition Mount Fuji and Wave Fountain Pen, which comes with its wooden Namiki presentation box (including outer) and booklet. The pen has never been used and is presented in as new condition
Created using the Hira Maki-e technique, that uses coloured urushi and raw lacquer, with silver and gold powders. Once the design has dried, multuple layers of Urushi are applied and then polished to a high shine. The barrel features Mt. Fuji, with the iconic Tsunami wave and golden birds flying across the barrel and cap. The trim is gold-plated.
The pen is fitted with a 14k fine nib and it’s a cartridge / converter (supplied) filler, so you have the best of both worlds when it comes to ink.
