Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this glorious Namiki Chinkin Crane Fountain Pen, which comes with its large wooden Namiki presentation box (including outer), bottle of ink, CD and information booklet. The pen has never been used and is presented in essentially as new condition.
The Chinkin Crane is a wonderfully detailed writing instrument. Chinkin refers to the technique of using small chisels to engrave a pattern on to the lacquered surface, which then has gold-leaf or dust applied, before a final layer of lacquer. The trim is gold-plated.
The pen is fitted with an 18k medium nib and it’s a cartridge / converter (supplied) so you have the best of both worlds when it comes to ink.
