Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this glorious Nakaya Portable Cigar Aka-Tamenuri Nine Tailed Fox Stopper Fountain Pen, which comes with its wooden presentation box (including outer), information leaflet and pen kimono. The pen has been barely been used and is presented in wonderful condition.
Nakaya require no introduction and if you’ve got this far then likely you’ll be familiar with their wonderful writing instruments. Aka-tamenuri is one of our favourite colour options, with the warmth and depth of the red finish having an almost glow to it. The rose gold-coated Nine Tailed Fox Roll Stopper is a wonderful addition.
The pen is hand-turned from solid ebonite rod stock, which then has multiple layers of lacquer applied, before finally being finished with natural urushi resin.
The pen is fitted with a 14k music nib and it’s a cartridge / converter pen, so your choice here is bottled ink.
