Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this glorious Nakaya Piccolo Long Writer Toki-tamenuri Fountain Pen with Snake Stopper, which comes with its wooden presentation box (including outer), cartridges and pen kimono. The pen has never been used and is presented in as new condition.
Nakaya require no introduction and if you’ve got this far then likely you’ll be familiar with their wonderful writing instruments. The Piccolo Long Writer is a size that is only produced for Aesthetic Bay in Singapore.
The pen is hand-turned from solid ebonite rod stock, which then has multiple layers of lacquer applied, before finally being finished with natural urushi resin. The base colour is a deep pink, which is visible on the threads and edges and the over-layer is a warm brown. An aged silver snake stopper adds a delightful touch!
The pen is fitted with a 14k ruthenium-coated soft medium nib and it’s a cartridge / converter pen (supplied), so your choice here is bottled ink.
