Nakaya Long Cigar Shobu Fountain Pen - Elastic Fine Nib - NEVER INKED

Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Nakaya Long Cigar Shobu Fountain Pen, which comes with its wooden presentation box (including outer), information leaflet and pen kimono. The pen has never been inked and is presented in virtually as new condition.        

Nakaya require no introduction and if you’ve got this far then likely you’ll be familiar with their wonderful writing instruments. Shobu is one of our favourite colours, with the deep purple tone being particularly impressive.          

The pen is hand-turned from solid ebonite rod stock, which then has multiple layers of lacquer applied, before finally being finished with natural urushi resin.           

The pen is fitted with a 14k ruthenium-coated elastic fine nib, that was tuned by John Mottishaw at nibs.com. It’s a cartridge / converter (supplied) pen, so your choice here is bottled ink.
