Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this wonderful Montegrappa Extra 1930 Turtle Brown Celluloid Fountain Pen, which comes with its large wooden Montegrappa presentation box (a lot of wear to the inner lining), bottle of ink, polishing cloth and unstamped information leaflet. The pen has been very lightly used and is presented in fantastic condition... there is a slightly grainy feeling finish to parts of the celluloid, to be honest we didn't notice it for the first 15 minutes of handling the pen, so it's not overly noticeable and doesn't seem to have affected the celluloid.
The cap and barrel are crafted from glorious multi-toned 'Turtle Brown' celluloid, which features myriad of brown and golden tones. The section and trim are sterling silver.
The pen is fitted with the older design scroll style size #8 18k medium nib and it's a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink.
