Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this wonderful Montegrappa Cosmos Enigma Limited Edition Fountain Pen, which comes with its huge Montegrappa presentation box (including outer, polishing cloth and booklets. The pen has never been used and is presented in wonderful condition. Only 1912 were produced and this is number 0388.
Released in 2002, this pen was third in a triptych of designs studying the place of humankind within the universe. The thene is Michelangelo's Adam contemplating the heavens through the windows of a medieval spacecraft. The pen used the low relief engraving technique along with hand application of precious enamel. It is quite a stunning design! The trim is sterling silver.
The pen is fitted with a medium size #8 18k nib and it's a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink.
