Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this wonderful Montblanc Victor Hugo Writers Edition Fountain Pen, Ballpoint Pen and Mechanical Pencil Set which comes with its Montblanc presentation boxes (including outer) and stamped information booklets - confirming first purchase on 4th November 2020 . All three writing instruments have barely been used and are presented in essentially as new condition - the M sticker, denoting a medium nib, remains on the cone. Only 900 sets were produced and this is number 224.
Every year Montblanc honour a great literary figure, as part of their writers limited edition. In 2020 it was the legendary French writer, Victor Hugo.
The design of the pen is inspired by Notre-Dame, with the cap being decorated with gothic arches and the end of the clip is shaped like the clapper in a bell – recalling Quasimodo and the bells of Notre-Dame. Victor Hugo’s signature is engraved on the cap.
The fountain pen is fitted with an 18k medium nib and it's a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink. The ballpoint will come with a new refill and the pencil has 0.7mm leads.
