Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Writers Edition Miguel de Cervantes Mechanical Pencil, which comes with an IZODS presentation box. The pen has been lightly used and is presented in overall excellent condition. Only 4000 were produced and this is number 0866. The pencil was serviced by Montblanc, in Hamburg, in September 2025 and the paperwork will be supplied.
Launched in 2005, as the yearly offering from the Montblanc Writers Edition, the Miguel de Cervantes, is a very striking writing instrument.
The design is inspired by windmills, symbolising the different characters of Don Quixote and his squire Sancho Panza. The pencil is finished in a marbled brown lacquer, with his signature engraved on the car.
The pencil is fitted with 0.7mm leads an unused eraser.
