Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Meisterstück Writers Edition Mark Twain Fountain Pen, which comes with an IZODS presentation box. The pen has been regularly, but carefully used, and is presented in overall lovely condition. Only 12000 were produced and this is number 11649.
Launched in 2010 as the yearly release in the Writers Edition series, this edition pays tribute to the American author Mark Twain. Crafted from a deep blue resin, the filigree wave design reflects both the river of his homeland, the Mississippi. The nib on the fountain pen is engraved with two threads, which was the nautical measurement used for navigation by river steamers on the Mississippi in the 19th century.
The pen is fitted with an 18k medium nib and it's a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink.
