Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this wonderful Montblanc Writers Edition Marcel Proust Limited Edition Mechanical Pencil, which comes with an IZODS presentation box. The pencil has never been used and is presented in essentially as new condition. Only 4000 were produced and this is number 01307.
Launched in 1999, as the yearly offering from the Montblanc Writers Edition, the Marcel Proust has rightly taken on legendary status. The eight-sided barrel is crafted from sterling silver and feature ornate engravings reminiscent of the time when Proust was at his most creative. His signature can also be found engraved on the barrel.
The pencil is fitted with an 0.7mm leads and an unused eraser.
