Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Writers Edition Marcel Proust Fountain Pen, Ballpoint Pen and Mechanical Pencil Set, which comes with its Montblanc presentation box (including outers) and unstamped booklet. All three writing instruments have never been used and are presented in virtually as new condition. The limitation number is 01944 and the M sticker, denoting a medium nib, remains on the cone of the fountain pen.
Launched in 1999, as the yearly offering from the Montblanc Writers Edition, the Marcel Proust has rightly taken on legendary status. The eight-sided barrel is crafted from sterling silver and feature ornate engravings reminiscent of the time when Proust was at his most creative. His signature can also be found engraved on the barrel.
The fountain pen is fitted with an 18k medium nib and it’s a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink. The ballpoint will come with a new refill and the pencil has 0.7mm leads.
