Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Writers Edition Jules Verne Fountain Pen, which comes with its Montblanc presentation box (including outer) and stamped booklet - confirming first purchase on 18th October 2003. The pen has never been used and is presented in virtually as new condition - the F sticker, denoting a fine nib, remains on the barrel. Only 18500 were produced and this is number 04833.
Launched in 2003, as the yearly offering for the Montblanc Writers Edition, the Jules Verne is one of the most iconic and recognisable releases in the series.
With its shimmering blue lacquered finish, complete with wave inspired guilloche design. The trim is platinum-coated. The pen is based on his most famous novel "Twenty Thousand Leagues under the Sea".
The pen is fitted with an 18k fine nib, which features an engraving of a divers helmet. It’s a piston filling pen, so your choice here is bottled ink.
