Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Writers Edition Jonathan Swift Fountain Pen, Ballpoint Pen and Mechanical Pencil Set, which comes with its book style Montblanc presentation box (including outer) and stamped booklet - confirming first purchase on 28th September 2012. The set has never been used and is presented in virtually as new condition - the M sticker, denoting a medium nib, remains on the fountain pen. All three have the same limitation number of 584.
Every year Montblanc honour a great literary figure, as part of their writers limited edition. In 2012 it was Jonathan Swift.
The pen takes its inspiration from "Gulliver's Travels". It's crafted from black lacquer and decorated with inlays reminiscent of the ropes used to bind Gulliver. The cap is particularly interesting as it's shaped like Gulliver's tricorn hat and it always features Swift's engraved signature. The clip reflects the staircar that the mayor of Liliput Island had to climb to talk to Gulliver.
The fountain pen is fitted with an 18k medium nib and it's a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink. The ballpoint will come with a new refill and the pencil has 0.7mm leads.
