Montblanc Writers Edition Homage to Homer Rollerball Pen

Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Writers Edition Homage to Homer Rollerball Pen, which comes with an IZODS presentation box. The pen has been regularly used so the resin has a shine rather than a matte sheen to it, but is still preseted in overall good condition. Only 8600 were produced and this is number 1355.

Launched in 2018, as the yearly offering from the Montblanc Writers Edition, the Homer is one of the most striking and recognisable pens from the series. This tribute to the author of the epic poems, the Iliad and the Odyssey, is a wonderful creation.

Taking its design inspiration from the story of the Trojan horse, the overall shape is a nod to the horse itself, with the back and clip reflecting the spear of Achilles. The engravings found on the cone and rings use motifs found on the traditional Greek pottery, with the colour of the pen also reflecting the colour of the pottery of that time.

The pen is twist action and uses the Montblanc capless rollerball refills.
