Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this delightful Montblanc Writers Edition Homage to Brothers Grimm Rollerball / Fineliner Pen, which comes with its Montblanc presentation box and stamped information booklet - confirming first purchase on 29th November 2022. The pen has never been used and is presented in essentially as new condition. Only 8600 were produced and this is number 2765.
Launched in 2022, as the yearly offering from the Montblanc Writers Edition, the Brothers Grimm is a richly detailed writing instrument.
Payting tribute to the legacy of the Brothers Grimm, who published so many of the world's most beloved folk tales in the 19th Century. The shape of the pen is modelled on a hiking stick, with the use of black resin reflected the darkness of the woods, so often found in their tales. The wave pattern on both the cap and barrel are a nod to Rapunzel's hair, whilst also resembling roots.
The pen is fitted with a new rollerball refill. If you'd rather use it as a fineliner, then you'd simply have to purchase the relevant refill - these are widely available online.
