Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this Montblanc Writers Edition Friedrich Schiller Fountain Pen, Ballpoint Pen and Mechanical Pencil Set which comes with its Montblanc presentation box (including outers) and unstamped information booklet. The set has barely been used and is presented in wonderful condition. All three have the limitation number 1273.
Every year Montblanc honour a great literary figure, as part of their writers limited edition. In 2010 it was Friedrich Schiller, who is renowned for literary works such as "The Robbers", "Mary Stuart" and "William Tell". The most stunning feature is the amber cap, which was a symbol of changing society in Schiller's time. The remainder of the pen is crafted from black resin with the trim being gold-plated.
The fountain pen is fitted with an 18k medium nib and it’s a piston filler, so your choice here is bottled ink. The ballpoint comes with a new refill and the pencil has 0.7mm leads.
